Rose and Jon’s Gorgeous DIY Village Hall Wedding

Rose and Jon had the most beautiful DIY village hall wedding. It was filled with colour, fun and love. The day started at Rose’s family home. Here, she and her bridesmaids got ready together. The atmosphere was relaxed, the women chatted together and laughed whilst Rose had her make up done. There were such beautiful touches surrounding the wedding preparations. Rose and her bridesmaids dresses hung on adorable home made hangers.  Not only that but the brides mother had spent all year cultivating and labouring to make her garden a work of art. The couple had visions of taking photographs in the families back garden and you could see why. The flowers and landscaping of the space was utterly beautiful.

DIY VILLAGE HALL WEDDING in SURREY

There is a wonderful atmosphere surrounding small village weddings. Many passers by wanted to watch Rose arrive at the church and congratulated her on her wedding day.  Arriving in a fabulous vintage car both the bride and groom drove in style. Rose and Jon were to be married in the lovely church of St Mary The Virgin in the quaint village of Horsell in Surrey. Surrounded by their loved ones, Rose and Jon said ‘I Do’ and they were met with cheers of joy. After confetti and group photographs the wedding party made their way down the road to Horsell Village Hall where the couple were to have their reception.

Meanwhile, Jon and Rose travelled back to the family home where together we took some couples portraits in the gorgeous garden. it was a lovely interlude to their gorgeous DIY village hall wedding. Taking a small time away from your wedding guests gives a couple a moment to spend together. With so many guests and people to greet, taking time together is always important.  What better way than in a gorgeous garden which was created with so much love and joy.
