LIZZIE + PETE’S SWEET MICRO WEYBRIDGE REGISTRY WEDDING

This lovely Weybridge Registry wedding was one of the first I photographed out of the lifted pandemic restrictions. Lizzy and Pete had a sweet intimate ceremony and then a gorgeous Oatlands Park Hotel wedding reception and dinner.  I started the morning with Lizzy at her parents home. This was Surrey wedding photographers dream. Lizzy’s family home was just a beautiful location and just down the road from me.

Lizzy has one of those infectious personalities that makes you just feel completely at ease the moment you meet her. Capturing her getting ready in the morning with her family and maid of honour was so relaxed and lovely. There was champagne, show tunes and lots of laughter. There was time for some portraits in Lizzy’s parents beautiful garden before heading to the ceremony for their Weybridge Registry wedding. As the wedding took place amidst pandemic restrictions, this micro wedding included Lizzy and Pete’s nearest and dearest. With the couple planing to have a big celebration party in 2023!

With all of these beautiful smiles and happy people, it is with great sadness that Lizzy lost her father this year. I am so happy that I was able to capture Lizzy on her wedding day with the people she loved the most. Life is so short and fleeting and is such a cherished experience. This is why the emphasis on photographs is so important.  Being able to photograph peoples families is always such a privilege, none more so when loved ones leave us.  So please look upon these images with smiles on your faces and witness how happy everyone is in these photographs. Remember to be in the picture – because someone will always want to look back on times with you and romanticise your time together.
