EMMA + ROY’S INTIMATE HENLEY-on-THAMES WEDDING

There is something very special about this lovely Henley-on-Thames wedding. It is special because this gorgeous garden marquee wedding is just one half of Emma and Roy’s wedding celebrations. Like many Covid couples, they planned a big wedding and then found them selves planning a small wedding too. They were to be married ay Henley Town Hall and then have a bigger wedding the following year. This is something that makes this wedding so special as I am able to continue my relationship with this wonderful couple for another year!

Sweet Micro Garden Marquee Wedding

Emma and Roy were not too fussed about having their Henley-on-Thames wedding ceremony captured on their day, but were invested in having some photographs at the family home by the river. This was a lovely idea as they will have their second ceremony captured this year too. Plus a house on the river is like a dream come true! With a relaxed wedding day and an intimate garden reception and a hog roast catering and mobile bar – this day in my eyes was perfection!

It was exciting to photograph a wedding in Henley-on-Thames. It was a part of the country that I had not visited or shot a wedding in. Henley was such a lovely town and Emma’s family home where the reception was held was simply gorgeous. Emma and Roy were expecting at the time of this wedding. So it will be so lovely to have their littlest new addition at their next celebration!
