Miss Bush Bridal // A Glorious Summer Surrey Party at The Chapel
When you get an invitation from the fabulous Emma from Miss Bush Bridal, you most defiantly answer the call. Emma invited me to come and photograph an event that she was hosting at The Chapel in Ripley. Miss Bush was hosting an event for present and past brides on a gorgeous summer evening in Surrey.
Emma had invited wonderful Miss Bush suppliers to the evening. This was so that brides could browse collections together in the community of those associated with Miss Bush Bridal. There were drinks and refreshments as the brides and future brides mingled together in the Chapel.
Brides of Miss Bush were treated to a taster of hair and make up tutorials. The lovely Carolanne Armstrong provided the make up sessions with her flawless approach to bridal make up. Her demonstrations of wedding make up were warmly received as brides smiled throughout the taster session. The wonderful Sharon Roberts was on hand for mini trials of wedding and bridal hair. Her expert advice was something of a conversation started amongst the brides and all the wedding hair sessions looked fantastic.
As well as some familiar faces to Miss Bush Bridal, Emma also invited collections from two brilliant accessory labels. They were Miss Clemmie Artisan Bridal Accessories and Pearl and Stud Shoes. Both of these bridal accessories are absolutely gorgeous. Both brands are British designers and offer bespoke services for wedding parties and brides.
Gorgeous floral designs and arch installations were provided and arranged. The talented Gale from Blooming Gales who designed such a wondrous summer themed floristry delight. Her palm leaf arrangements made the Miss Bush Bridal chapel look fantastic.
Miss Bush Bridal Impromptu Summer Shoot
Emma had a guest supplier with a pop up dress selection Shikoba Bride who had a selection of beautiful boho wedding dresses. Emma decided to take advantage of the gorgeous summer evening with model Kyra and we headed out into the surrounding areas of Ripley common. With jewellery from Miss Clemmie and hair and make up by the fabulous Carolanne and Sharon the Miss Bush team set upon creating a little mini shoot outside The Chapel.
It was so wonderful to be involved with local suppliers and to network with such a lovely group of people. It was obviously an excellent idea on Emma’s part to involve both past and present brides with suppliers and collections. However, it was also a real breath of fresh air for local business. We all got to get together and collaborate on a collective idea.
