GORGEOUS LORD OF THE RINGS THEMED WEDDING DAY IN GUILDFORD

Searching for a documentary wedding photographer Surrey – then look no further. This wedding that is up on the blog today is something special. Zoe and Rupert were married in Zoe’s family church in Guildford. When I say the families church, Zoe’s father is the Vicar at this particular establishment. He took the day off for his daughters wedding though, just in case you were wondering.
Zoe and her bridal party got ready at the families home. The morning was very relaxed and filled with musical soundtracks played out through little speakers. With the party theatrically singing, Zoe floated through the rooms calmly. Alongside the bridal party, the groomsmen were also readying themselves. With the same calm and joyful atmosphere, both parties were anxious for the ceremony to begin.
The family arrived together at the church in the centre of Guildford. Whilst guests congregated and greeted one another, Zoe and her parents waited patiently at the back door of Holy Trinity Church. With moving and rousing speeches, Zoe and Rupert’s wedding was a wonderful celebration. A candid and relaxed pre-reception drinks was held in the church for members of the church.
After some group photographs on the steps of the church and some bubbly, it was time to depart. The couple had their friends and family walk down the cobbled Guildford high street after the ceremony to the reception venue. Whilst their congregation walked to the venue, the couple snuck away for a couple of portraits in the stunning gardens of Guildford Castle together.

With a reception at St Mary’s Church in Guildford guests were greeted at the reception with a delicious hog roast wedding breakfast. Zoe and Rupert were keen to keep things relaxed and natural for their wedding dinner. Tables were decorated beautifully with Lord of The Rings themed place settings and table names. Beautiful flower arrangements by Meadowfolk adorned the tables amongst wooden hearts. A handmade wedding cake, designed to their Lord Of The Rings theme was set in pride of place. A family member had lovingly created the cake for the couple. It was even topped with miniature figurines of themselves in Elven form.
After a blessing from Zoe’s father the wedding party were treated to a visual masterpiece. Zoe and Rupert, unknowingly to their friends and family had a special first dance. Together they had prepared and learned a choreographed first dance to one of their favourite musical numbers “As Long As Your Mine” from Wicked. A wonderful memory lasting in the mids of their guests, whilst totally surprising them at the same time!
