BOTLEY HILL BARN  FARM 

Lauren from Bluebird Creative contacted me in summer last year with a proposed project at Botley Hill Barn Farm.  I knew the lovely Lauren from a supper club event at Miss Bush Bridal earlier in the year. She had organised a wonderful event with local suppliers and I was there to document the evening. When she emailed about a potential project involving a new Surrey wedding venue I was intrigued. A new venue is Surrey was so exciting and I could have not been more enthralled to work with Lauren again.

 BOTLEY HILL BARN FARM 

The venue was on the site of Botley Hill Farmhouse and was in the process of becoming a Surrey wedding venue as well. At the time it was scheduled to be open in Spring 2019. With an arrangement of gorgeous wedding suppliers the shoot was proposed on a lovely sunny day in mid-summer. Unlike styled shoots which are sent to magazines and blogs, this shot was to be for the venues. Designing and building a new venue for the wedding industry requires drive but also imagery to show off the space!

SURREY WEDDING SUPPLIERS

Botley Hill Barn Farm had such amazing potential for a wedding venue. The grounds were beautiful and there is a shepherds hut on site for use of the bridal party. It is a cute establishment and is settled in the picturesque surroundings of the Surrey countryside.  The aim of the shoot was to create some gorgeous portraits to showcase the venues potential to clients. Lauren put together a stellar team for the project and I was so lucky to be included. With wonderful suppliers such as Melissa Oldridge providing make up and Sharon Roberts providing hair styling.

Lauren wanted to create and style a very soft and beautiful shoot with soft pastel tones to fit with Botely Hill Barn Farm and it’s aesthetics. The gorgeous Alison from Mad Lilies provided the most fabulous floral arrangements. The flowers of choice and the bouquet arrangement oozed style and countryside chic. With a ribbon to tie the flowers together the pastel tones in the bouquet complimented the silk wedding dress perfectly.  On location two dresses were used on the shoot which were both provided by Pantiles Bride.
