Lauren and John’s Oxenford Farm barn wedding was one of those gorgeous Spring days that you don’t really expect to be beautiful and they they turn out gorgeously hot and sunny. Their wedding took place at Leatherhead Registry office and it was a moving and wonderful ceremony. John could not contain his tears when he saw Lauren and who could blame him? She is an absolute knock out! Now Oxenford Farm Barn is not usually reserved for a wedding, but usually you would find the venue swarming with Christmas Trees come December. However, upon this occasion John and Lauren had decorated this venue with a gorgeous wedding breakfast set up. With home made wedding favours, a bespoke wedding cake made by John’s mum and a decked out Landrover for their wedding car!

But perhaps the star of the show was Lauren and John’s dog Perry who joined in on the wedding festivities! With a waistcoat and bow tie he was a very dapper dog. The couple had a relaxed wedding reception in the courtyard outside the barn and after some relaxed wedding portraits, the speeches begun! So many people gave such beautiful speeches, with such emotion that there was rarely a dry eye in the house. It was a testament to how loved and appreciated this couple are among their family and friends. A BBQ wedding breakfast kicked off the festivities and the night ended with a fire pit, games in the courtyard and a fantastic pizza van.

This small and intimate Surrey registry wedding was so wonderful to photograph. Poonam and Rahil had their Leatherhead registry office wedding when government restrictions during the pandemic lifted. Planning a small wedding during a pandemic is difficult. Couples were never sure what was going to be within the governments corona virus guidelines. Luckily Poonam and Rahil were able to get married with their closest friends and family in their Leatherhead registry office wedding. They were to have a second marriage ceremony the year after, with many more guests being invited.

This Surrey registry wedding venue in Leatherhead is a favourite of mine. With lovely light wedding ceremony rooms and kind and accommodating registrars. They allow a close wedding ceremony to not feel cramped in the space, which is really wonderful. Poonam walked down the aisle with her mother in a beautiful ceremony. You could tell how special their bond was and how happy Poonam was to see Rahil.

Even with shorter coverage on a micro wedding day there is always time for the core important photographs. This Surrey registry wedding was no different! With a micro wedding package of two hours there are still opportunities for confetti, family photographs and couples portraits. Just because the wedding you are planning is smaller, does not mean that the moments in your coverage are less important. If anything they are magnified by how close and intimate the wedding is.
